Supply :
In common life we take supply and stock in same meaning but in economics supply is quiet difference from stock.

“Supply means quantity of goods or services, which is present in the market for sell during certain period of time at a specific level of price”.

For example: 1000 kg mangoes represent in the market but suppliers offered only 300 kg mangoes for sell at a particular price for Rs.10/- during the certain period of time. So the quantity of 700 kg is stock. While the quantity of 300kg, which was offered for sell is supply.
